Grandpa Randy!

Grandpa Randy (my dad) came to visit! He flew in from Cheyenne Wyoming.
He was able to stay and play for a few days. We had lots of fun!
Mostly we played outside enjoying the weather and chatted.
We also went out to eat a few times and did a little shopping.



We went to the Wildlife World Zoo. It was a lot of fun. We saw tons
of animals and had a great time!

There was a skyride that went over a whole bunch of animals.

It was really cool. Dillon loved it!

We also went on a train ride around and saw a bunch of animals.

Dillon loved that as well!

There was a little petting zoo. Taya enjoyed touching some

of the animals. The goat was trying to eat grandpa's watch.

Dillon sort of liked being in there with the animals but

he wanted Mike to hold him the whole time. (Notice that

I am taking pictures from outside the fence.) :)

We all went in to touch the turtles.

Yes, even I will get in with the turtles. (they are super slow

so I could definately get away fast!) :)

We had a good visit with Grandpa Randy. It was good to

have him come to our house and see our new stomping grounds.

We were sad to see him go but we had lots of fun!

Fun Weekend with Family!

Mike's brother Kirk and his wife Shaughnessy and their
baby Ryon came to stay with us for a few days! We had
such a great time. The weather was very cooperative and
we spent tons of time outside just soaking up the sun!



We had a little BBQ on our back patio.

Jaymie brought over some of her super delicious

super cute cupcakes for us. Dillon couldn't wait to

devour them! (Actually he couldn't wait to devour

the frosting!) : )

Ryon had lots of fun in the swing. He loved

being outside. He is such a cutie!!!

We really just hung out letting the kids play and chatting.

Dillon had so much fun playing with uncle Kirk.

On friday we went to the Phoenix Zoo. Dillon

and Taya loved seeing the animals and

running around.

Right before we left the kids got to ride on the Carousel.

Dillon chose to ride the Crocodile and Taya got the Panda Bear.

We had lots of fun!

Friday night we went to a spring training baseball game.

The Cincinnati Reds vs. the Seattle Mariners. We sat

out in the Berm. The kids had fun, it got a little windy

for awhile so it was a little chilly. But we had fun!

Dillon took his mitt and a ball. He was pretty disappointed

he didn't catch a real baseball but maybe next time.

Saturday we went over to Jesse and Jaymie's house. The

kids got to go for a spin on uncle Jesse's scooter!

Taya didn't technically get to go for a ride, she just got

to pose for the pic. She sure loves her daddy!

It was so great be able to spend time with Kirk and Shaughnessy

and Jaymie and Jesse! We had a wonderful time and hope to

see them again soon. Thanks for all the fun!

Happy Birthday Dillon!

Holy Cow Dillon turned 4!!!!

We were lucky enough to be up in Utah for Dillon's birthday. He got to have 2 parties and spend time with Grandpa Ron and Grandma Janet and Grandpa Jim and Grandma Susan. He also got to do a lot of fun playing with all of his cousins!

Dillon wanted a Construction Site on his cake. He helped put everything on including the work signs and sprinkling all the dirt.

We had a great trip, it was so nice to see all our families and spend some time.

We love you all!

On the drive home we had to get a pic of the kids in their super cool shades!

Grandpa and Grandma!

Hooray! Grandpa Jim and Grandma Susan came to visit! They came all the way from Syracuse Utah. It was so good to see them and we had a great time!

We drove over to Mike's school and we ended up playing in the parking lot for awhile.

Dillon brought a bag of cars (of course) and he had fun driving them on the ledge.

Taya was so excited to be free to run around she was laughing and having a blast!

We also drove over to the Mesa Temple and walked around the grounds. It was pretty wet and it rained off and on. The weather was not cooperating. My parents came to enjoy the nice "winter" weather we have here and of course it rains and was pretty chilly (61 degrees) brrr.

The first day they were here it was pretty warm and we were able to play outside for a while.

Taya loves Dillon's car she never lets him have a turn!

Swinging on the swing set is always fun!

Dillon had so much fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa. He couldn't get enough all he kept asking was "will you play with me?"

It was so nice to have my parents come and stay. We had a lot of fun! Too soon they had to go back home. Dillon was pretty sad to see them go but I kept reminding him of all the fun he had. We love them so much and hope to see them again soon! Thanks so much for the great time!

Valentine's Day Festivities!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Dillon and Taya got some giant lip suckers from Jesse and Jaymie so we had to get a pic.



Taya couldn't keep hers in her mouth so I had to help her. She loved the sucker though!

Dillon and I made some heart shaped sugar cookies and we all had fun decorating them!

Of course the most fun was eating them!
