Cow Appreciation Day!

July 9 is Cow Appreciation Day. A holiday declared
by Chick-fil-A. If you dress up like a cow you get a free
meal. How awesome is that because I happen to love
Chick-fil-A! So we dressed the kids up and went for lunch!


You can't really see Dillon's ears but they are
stuck to his hat.


They had fun! Mike and I opted out of dressing
up because we are chicken. (haha get it?)
Anyways, needless to say we had a delicious lunch!

July 4th Festivities!

Sunday, July 4th 2010.
Happy Independence Day! We went over to
our friends' the Brown's house for a super
delicious dinner. After dinner we went to the
Goodyear Ballpark to see the Fireworks!


I tried so hard to get a good cute picture of the kids.
Alas I took a ton of pics and didn't end up with anything
spectacular but still cute nonetheless.


Not sure why this one won't turn the right way.

It was lots of fun! The kids love Fireworks and running

around with their friends. We missed being with our

families and we love them very much. We hope everyone

had a great 4th of July!

July 4th Festivities!

On July 3 we went to Wigwam Creek Golf Course and
Country Club to watch Fireworks! It is a really nice place.
We sat out on the fareway in the nice grass.

Dillon got a really cool glow light saber that
was super bright and made awesome sounds!



Taya was pretty excited about her glow stick bumblebee!

It was lots of fun! We were pretty much directly

under the fireworks! Awesome!

July 4th Festivities!

Our July 4th Festivities began on July 2. We went to
the theater and saw Toy Story 3 in the morning. (The previous
post documented that experience.)

Friday evening we went to the Maryvale Baseball Park
in Phoenix to see some fireworks.


Here is Dillon in front of the field.


There were a few games set up for the kids to play. Here
Dillon is tossing food to the bears.

Next they went into a bouncy house. I couldn't get a very
good pic of Dillon because he was having too much fun
jumping around. Taya wanted to try. She got just inside the
door and then stayed there and let the kids bounce her.
She did have fun even though this pic makes her look distraught.


The last game was a baseball game. Dillon did awesome!
He was hitting that ball like crazy!

For the Fireworks Show we sat in the stadium seats.

The Fireworks show was pretty awesome and both

kids really enjoyed it! Super Fun!

To the Theater!

Hooray! We took the kids to see Toy Story 3!
It was great! I was a little worried about Taya,
but we had some popcorn and snacks and she
brought her baby and bottle. She enjoyed it!


She munched on her snacks and held her baby.
She sat on my lap most of the time and kinda
milled around a little. It was fun!


Dillon loved it! He was chowing on his popcorn
with his eyes glued to the screen! It was a
great show. I really liked it! What a great
family movie experience! (that was super
cheesy, but seriously it was lots of fun!)
