Grandpa and Grandma!

Hooray! Grandpa Jim and Grandma Susan came to visit! They came all the way from Syracuse Utah. It was so good to see them and we had a great time!

We drove over to Mike's school and we ended up playing in the parking lot for awhile.

Dillon brought a bag of cars (of course) and he had fun driving them on the ledge.

Taya was so excited to be free to run around she was laughing and having a blast!

We also drove over to the Mesa Temple and walked around the grounds. It was pretty wet and it rained off and on. The weather was not cooperating. My parents came to enjoy the nice "winter" weather we have here and of course it rains and was pretty chilly (61 degrees) brrr.

The first day they were here it was pretty warm and we were able to play outside for a while.

Dillon had so much fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa. He couldn't get enough all he kept asking was "will you play with me?"

It was so nice to have my parents come and stay. We had a lot of fun! Too soon they had to go back home. Dillon was pretty sad to see them go but I kept reminding him of all the fun he had. We love them so much and hope to see them again soon! Thanks so much for the great time!

Valentine's Day Festivities!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Dillon and Taya got some giant lip suckers from Jesse and Jaymie so we had to get a pic.



Taya couldn't keep hers in her mouth so I had to help her. She loved the sucker though!

Dillon and I made some heart shaped sugar cookies and we all had fun decorating them!

Of course the most fun was eating them!

Happy Birthday Michael!!!

Happy Birthday to my hubby! Yesterday was Mike's birthday. We had a great day! We drove to Mesa to go to lunch at Costa Vida (super delicious)! Then we went home and played in the backyard with the kids. That evening Jesse, Jaymie and Henslee came over and we ate barbeque ribs fresh off the grill and some delicious cake! It was a good day.


Mike got a new shaver and some new shirts. Dillon gave him a couple cars so they could play together.


Dillon was convinced that his daddy wanted a monster truck cake for his birthday. He got to help put the trucks on and sprinkle the "dirt".

Michael is a wonderful husband. I love him so much. We have been through a lot together and he has always been right by my side making everything okay. He is so funny and is always making me laugh. He knows how to look at things in a positive way and bring out the best in a situation. He is such a hard worker. When he puts his mind to something he will get it no matter how difficult it is. He is a wonderful support to me and I admire him for his dedication to work hard for our family.
Michael is a wonderful father. Dillon and Taya love him so much. He is always playing with them and making them laugh. He is so much fun to be around and he is always making us smile. We are so thankful and happy to have him in our lives and we love him so much!

Trip to Utah!

After Christmas we took a little trip up to Utah to spend some time with our families. We had so much fun and it was great to see everyone!

We went to lunch with Grandpa Randy and Brittany and Kaylee. It was super delicious and it was good to see him even though it was a quick visit.

We tried so hard to get a picture of all the cousins. It didn't go so well but at least they are all in the picture! (Ellie, Taya, Dillon, Kylee, Hallie, and Kaylee) They are all so dang cute!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

SNOW!!!!

Dillon was so excited to play in the snow! He got to go out with his cousins and build a snowman!

Mike was brave and went out to shovel!

Dillon had so much fun driving some little cars in the snow! (Taya and Mommy were perfectly content to stay inside where it was warm)

We got to head up to Utah for a week right after Christmas and spend some time with our families! We had a lot of fun! It was great to see everyone and get a small taste of the snow and winter weather!

Christmas Morning!

He was also very meticulous at opening his presents.

Christmas Eve!

We started a Christmas Eve tradition. We made Christmas Trains!
Dillon had lots of fun and was very proud of his train!


Michael was also very proud of his creation which is some sort of monster creature mobile!



Taya had fun watching and eating whatever scraps she could get her hands on!

The kids got to open 2 gifts one was their sibling gift. Taya got Dillon some cars and Dillon got Taya some little people figures. They also got to open the traditional Christmas PJ's from mommy and daddy!

We then went to Jesse and Jaymie's for a little party so we got a picture with Henslee, Dillon and Taya in their Christmas PJ's! So much fun!
